The 3rd round of 1/10 buggy Czech nationals 2016 took place on astroturf track in Potstejn. Local club prepared nice track, however in my opinion too big for 1/10 buggy. Most of the drivers arrived in Friday afternoon for free practice, but heavy rain came about 30 minutes before the start of the practice. That meant almost nobody hit the track on Friday.
In the morning everyone did at least couple of laps on super wet track to gain some knowledge for qualifications. With super low grip we decided to run my dirt cars. In 2wd qualifications I made some mistakes every round and finished overall 2nd behind Marek Schiller, who took overall TQ, congrats!
In 4wd buggy my Orion powered XB4â™16 finished 2nd in Q1, but after few small changes I took easy TQs in Q2&Q3 and took overall TQ!
In 2wd A1&A2 I had tough runs being taken out in both finals in the first minutes and also made few mistakes on my own. Marek Schiller won A1&A2, which meant 1st place was decided. For the last final we made couple of more changes on my XB2 Dirt Edition and they worked out great. My XB2 (DE) took the win in A3 and set the fastest lap of the race (in 2wd buggy class)! That meant overall 2nd place with Ales Bidovsky (XB2 Dirt Edition) finishing on 3rd place!

4wd class was absolutely different story. We only add more power to my Orion electronics as the grip got higher and my XB4â™16 was uncatchable and won A1&A2! 2nd&3rd overall finished Marcel Dostal and Ales Bidovsky, both with XB4â™16!
